Many Japanese steel manufacturers are likely to raise the 2011 Q1 prices of wire, which is expected to export to Aaian customers, up to US$50~100/ ton before next week. Since the market continuously holds an optimistic view on the mounting needs from the automotive industry, predicting that a large deal of orders would generate after the Chinese Lunar New Year, the 2011 Q1 wire prices are foreseen to go up unceasingly. Other Aaian steel manufactures like Taiwan CSC, Chinese Baosteel Group Corporation, and South Korean POSCO are expected to maintain or substantially raise the prices.
