Würth Adams Plans to Invest $30M in New Brooklyn Park HQ
Würth Adams Nut & Bolt Co. plans to invest $30 million to build a new Minnesota headquarters and distribution center at the corner of Highways 610 and 169 in Brooklyn Park. The company plans to begin construction this summer of a $18.5 million, 160,000-square-foot building that will require another $11.5 million in machinery and equipment. Wurth Adams is a German-based distributor of assembly and fastening materials. It's part of a group of 400 companies in 80 countries that has more than 64,000 employees and $13 billion in sales last year. It has been in Minnesota since 1997 when it bought Adams Nut & Bolt Co., the fastener distribution company that Winston Adams founded in 1979.
