Klein Tools Expands Its Insulated Tool Line

Klein Tools is expanding their insulated hand tools line with new electrician’s tools with “slimmer, sleeker profiles”, which have been certified by VDE in Germany.  These “made in the USA” tools feature a three-part insulation and have been tested to 10,000V and rated at 1,000V. The new grips utilize a three part injection-molded insulation that not only better protects the tool, but also acts as a color warning system in case the insulation gets cut or warn through. Thumb guards aid in handling and prevent you from grabbing into the metal portion of the tool. Speaking of metal, Klein uses their own proprietary blend of steel and heat treating process to ensure that their tools can stand up to trade abuse.
