Taiwanese Junior High School Student Attains International Award for the Invented Multi-functional Screwdriver
Regardless of scarce educational resources in rural areas, children's abundant creativity proves to be unstoppable. In Bin Mao Junior High School, located in Taimali Township of Taitung County, 7 Paiwan (an aboriginal tribe in Taiwan) students attended Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technologies for the first time. At the end they received gold award for their creation of "multi-functional screwdriver".
This humble screwdriver may be small in size but is loaded with various screw driving tools of different functions, bringing much convenience and tool exchangeability when you go out.
The inspiration behind this invention is the extensible pencil with exchangeable pencil lead.The invention receives the gold award from Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technologies and is currently applying for patent.
