BMW Recalls Models Due to Breaking Risk of Engine Bolts

Certain media reported that several car models of BMW including 3 series, 5 series, X3, X5, and X6 showed potential risk of breakage of camshaft bolts.

On Mar. 14, BMW had a press release about “The problem of camshaft bolts in engines” on its website that it would investigate and assess the problem of bolts and would recall certain models. BMW said that it would submit the application for recall to Chinese inspection authority as soon as possible and the details would be announced through the official approach.
