Soga Industrial Corp.
Diversified High-Quality Hardware and Fasteners Sold Worldwide
Established in 1982, Soga Industrial Corp. has over 30 years of experience in the industry and specializes in the production of hardware, components, and fasteners. After the business upgrade in manufacturing facilities, in-house regulations, quality requirement, training, and hardware, its high-quality metal products and fasteners made in Taiwan are sold worldwide and are especially designated by European, US, and Japanese procuring clients.
The Hardware Expert Taps into the Fastener Field
The hardware production covers Brass Inserts, Mechanical Bearings, Snap Hooks, Grease Nipples, and Carbon /Stainless Steel Balls. In 2005 it tapped into the production of fasteners such as Brass Inserts, Special Nuts, and Socket Set Screws. Nowadays, the production of fasteners has represented 50% of Soga’s total revenue. Accordingly, Soga’s production and marketing capabilities cannot be overlooked.
Speaking of capacity utilization, president Mr. J.C. Chen said, “There are roughly 30 sets of specialized fastener formers in the factory. If each machine can produce 8,000-10,000 pieces of Brass Inserts per day, even though the daily capacity is adjusted based on different manufacturing levels of products, the total monthly capacity can still reach 6 million to 7 million pieces of Brass Inserts.” Production lines are almost fully utilized by just manufacturing Brass Inserts and we haven’t mentioned other products yet!
Retaining Existing Clients and Developing New Ones
100% of Soga’s products are for exports and its customers are from the whole world including Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Oceania, and Africa. With techniques accumulated over the past 30 years, it is able to customize hardware and fasteners as per customer’s request and also accepts OEM/ODM orders.
Considering the competition in the market, president Chen thinks that the low-price strategy adopted by China and countries in Southeast Asia still poses a threat to the company. However, such pressure can be also a benefit. With lots of low-price products prevalent in the market, Soga will employ its competitiveness of superior quality and quick lead-time, make use of the flexibility to accept requests for unique designs and logos, and promote products with high performance/price ratios compliant with EP regulations to tap into the global market.
