Japan Natec Prsents Lightweight Special Screw Products

At the "Weight Reduction Expo" of "Automotive World 2014", Natec Co., Inc. presented "DELTA PT® Screw", "ALtracs Plus® Screw", and "Self-tapping Screw for High Tensile Steel Plate" (all are special self-tapping screws that eliminate the use of metal inserts to reduce weight), as well as "High Strength Aluminum Alloy Fasteners" that cut down the composition of fasteners to reduce weight.

"ALtracs Plus® Screw" can self-tap into aluminum die cast materials. Its special threads can prevent galling and adhesion that are common on average self-tapping screws. The plastic-deformative female screw deforms with its high flank angle, thus able to prevent loosening via temperature change and vibration. Because there is no need to tap on light alloys, cost will be lower.  "ALtracs Plus® Screw" is reusable, and interchangeable with small screws and small bolts. It can not only be used on die cast materials but also on materials that form vibration or temperature change, without worries for loosening.
