During 1998 to 2002, Taiwan ever topped the world in hand tool exports for five consecutive years, and Karat Industrial Corporation was one of the driving forces to make Taiwan become “The Kingdom of Hand Tools”. Though China and Germany excelled Taiwan in hand tool export values in 2003 and 2008 respectively, and Taiwan slipped to the third place, Taiwan hand tool industry may seem to have shed its halo, but in reality now it is the best time for Taiwan to seek for another peak.
