Finished Steel Products from China to Latin America During Jan.-Sep. 2013 Reported 23% Surge

Latin America Steel Association (Alacero) currently reported that the import of finished steel products from China to Latin American countries during January through September amounted to US$3.9 million, with a surge of 23% over the corresponding period last year. According to this report, these finished steel products with the total volume of 1 million tons from China to Latin America were mainly shipped to Brazil (543,223 tons), Chile (506,332 tons), and Central America (501,134 tons).
