Russian Car Sales Dropped 7% During Q1-Q3 2013

According to European Chamber of Commerce Taiwan (ECCT), during January to September 2013 the sales of Russian new cars and commercial cars were 2.04 million units, down 7% from the same period last year. September sales were 246,895 units, down 5%. ECCT predicts that Russian passenger car and commercial car sales may reach 2.79 million units in 2013, down 5.1% from last year's 2.94 million units. Q4 sales are forecast to remain flat at 740 thousand units.
