Key Fasteners Corporation is nearly doubling its 82,500 sq ft Indiana plant with a $1.6 million expansion. Key also will install $8 million in equipment. Key supplies fasteners to Honda and other automakers. Key, a subsidiary of Sato Rashi Co. Inc. of Japan, manufactures fasteners used in engines, frames, brakes and fuel systems. The 39,000 sq ft, $1.6 million addition will allow Sato Rashi to transfer some production from Japan to the U.S.
