New Packaging Plant Completed for BI-MIRTH CORP.

The new packaging plant for BI-MIRTH CORP. launched in May 2013 with an investment of NTD 100 million, spanning across 9,700 square meters. As we stepped in, the high-ceiling design brings in the natural sunlight that illuminates the neat factory, overturning the common impressions to traditional industries. The new plant is an eye-catcher for its comfort design and highly transparent operational surroundings.

Efficient Processing and Quality Management 

BI-MIRTH CORP. is located in Gangshan, Koahsiung (a region dubbed as the screw cave of Taiwan). It started in 1986 as a trading company of three employees, and transformed into a large-scale company with four factories and over 200 employees. With BI-MIRTH’s consistent production process including screw plant, painting plant, electroplating plant, and the new packaging plant, the company developed a vast and diverse production line. In addition to controlling quality more efficiently, the company can further elevate capacity and provide various services to satisfy market demand, which in turn will help it gain competitiveness and demonstrate the true value of MIT (Made-In-Taiwan).

The new packaging plant owns an automated packaging machine and two box-folding machines. From arrival of products to packaging and loading for shipment, the streamlined and spacious procedures make operations more convenient and uplift efficiency and capacity efficiently. Speaking of the motive for building this new packaging plant, president Thomas Shin says, “Through the new plant, the company aims to upgrade overall capacity and shipment, and provide real-time supply for our clients.” He also points out that shortening the time required for delivery will create an advantage that prompts clients to establish a long-term partnership, which will eventually boost the total production value of the company.

R&D as the Core Value of BI-MIRTH 

The company has stood for nearly three decades. Its main products include construction screws, wood screws, concrete screws, self-drilling screws, lag screws, etc, among which the long wood screws are the company’s main specialty, with monthly capacity of 600 tons. Besides, BI-MIRTH owns a professional and experienced R&D team able to make customized products for clients’ demand.

Currently the company focuses on foreign sales to the US and Europe. In the future, it will put more strength in developing customized and long screws. Moreover, it will intensify R&D capability as its core value, create new products, and take on the challenge to make screws of no restricted thread type, point type, and length. Ultimately, it aims to ensure that product quality and specifications correspond to the market change and satisfy clients’ needs.
