Chilean Car Sales Increased by 16% in 1st Half of 2013

National Automobiles Association of Chile (ANAC) reported that the total sales of cars in the 1st half of 2013 reached 0.18 million and 2,537 units, up 16% over the same period last year. The association forecast that the sales of the entire year is going to reach 0.35 million units. During the 1st six months of 2013, brands sold were mainly Chevrolet (27,000 units), Hyundai (17,519 units), Nissan (16,628 units), Kia (15,213 units), Toyota (13,338units).
