OSC Are Fully Compliant With New EU Construction Products Regulation

OSC, one of the UK’s top suppliers of fasteners and wood connectors, are pleased to announce that they are fully compliant with the new EU Construction Products Regulation. These new regulations came into being on 1 July 2013 and they will have a major impact on many businesses and individuals working in the construction industry. The new regulation sees all construction products that are covered by a harmonised European Standard and are placed onto the market after 1 July 2013 requiring to be CE marked and have an accompanying declaration of performance, if the product is intended to be sold within the European Economic Area. OSC ensured that they were ready for the new regulation coming in, replacing the European Construction Products Directive.
