NFDA May 2013 Economic Report Now Available

The latest quarterly Economic Outlook Report, prepared for NFDA by the Institute for Trend Research, now is posted in the NFDA online library. The ITR Leading Indicator™ slipped for the second consecutive month in March but remains in positive territory. With an 9 to 11-month lead time, ITR expects the overall economy to remain positive through late 2013. The industry experienced a slight slow down of the latest fastener distribution index last month, 51.6 in April vs. 52.8 in March.
