Japanese "Osaka Forming" Company to Release New-Type Nuts of Zero Loosening Angle Next Year
The company has scheduled a release of new-type flange nut "E-Lock Smart Nut" (certified as a "zero loosening angle" nut by vibration testing lab of Industrial Research Center of Shiga Prefecture) to be in January, 2013. The internal part of the nut has gone through special treatment to completely eliminate loosening gaps. Its price will be 30% higher than average nuts.
A non-threaded part is remained on the flange side of the nut to maintain a distance from a screw. Such design will dissipate stress on the screw, in this way eliminating burdens cast on the screw head when fastening, as well as stablizing torque when removing.
In addtion, a specially lubricated spring on top of the nut will prevent loosening. Although there are other anti-loosening products in the market, this "E-Lock Smart Nut" is designed and mass-produced due to clients specific request for "zero loosening angle" nut.
