ArcelorMittal Krivyi Rog Announced 2011 Financial Report

Ukranian iron and steel plant ArcelorMittal Krivoi Rog in Dniepropetrovs'k announced its 2011 financial report with a profit of 2.143053 billion grivnas (about USD260 million). In 2011, the company increased a net income by 23%, or 5.402789 billion grivnas, to 28.882969 billion grivnas.
According to the report, ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog announced its 2012 output plan for its product portfolio as follows:

In 2011, in addition to its domestic sales, ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog exported its products to 59 countries in the world. The company's main export markets covered Near East, Africa, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Turkey and the shares of these markets were 72.8% of the total exports. Near East was the largest market of the company's exports in 2011 with 1.606967 million tons or 39.9%. Africa was the second largest market accounting for 12.76% of the total exports and African countries such as Ghana, Senegal, and Benin were its export partners. Moreover, CIS was in the third place.

95.1266% of ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog's shares belong to Mittal Steel Germany GmbH, which is one of the international steel group ArcelorMittal's subsidiary. ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog is the largest steel plant in Ukraine, specializing in rolled long steel products, especially rebar and wire rod.
