Chinese Automakers Launch Factories in Brazil to Make Profits
In addition to their expansion in the Brazilian market, Chinese automakers begin to invest in setting up factories locally. It is expected that the production would be launched in 2014, the production capacity would reach 10,000 units, and they would be sold to Brazil, Argentina, and Venezuela. According to the statistics, the auto output in Brazil achieved 3.6 million units in 2011 and ranked fifth in the world following China, the U.S., Europe and Japan. It is estimated that the output will increase to 5 million units in 2018 and Brazil would become the third largest auto market after China and the U.S.
