Gilchrist Foundation Awards 2012 Scholarships
NFDA Association News Report: The Gilchrist Foundation has awarded four scholarships from the 2012 applicants. Congratulations to the recipients. We wish them well and are pleased to assist them with their education.
They are as follows:
Brittany Moulton, sponsored by Edsco Fasteners of Elba, AL
Jack Nelson, sponsored by FPC Corporation of Waconda, IL
Kyle Strahm, sponsored by Wurth Snider Bolt of Louisville, KY
Daniel Lyman, sponsored by Hodell-Natco, Valley View, OH
Robbie and Gina Gilchrist established the Gilchrist Foundation Fastener Scholarship in 2000. Their goal was to return something to an industry that was very good and supportive to them. The criteria for applying are that, upon completion of their schooling, the applicant must make an effort to work in the fastener Industry or be a current employee from an NFDA or SEFA member company. Unlike other scholarships, the Gilchrist Foundation Scholarship may be applied for during any year of a persons schooling. Also, an applicant may be a part time student currently working in the fastener industry. The Gilchrist Foundation Scholarship is available to any student of an NFDA or SEFA member company.
