Severstal-Metiz Held Dealer Convention in Moscow
Severstal-Metiz had sponsored a dealer convention in Moscow recently. All dealers were invited to discuss the market conditions, rating of dealer achievement, and future trend of cooperation.
During the convention, Mr. Sergie Vidrin, the Business GM of Severstal-Metiz, gave the briefing of current status of metallurgical products by different departments, and published the preliminary estimate of business results of 2011, and the achievements of several large-scale development cases. These cases include increasing production capabilities of high-carbon steel equipment, optimization of steel cable production process, mass production of special clamps and metallurgical equipment, and expansion of production lines of steel fiber products. Attendants paid special concerns toward the customer services by metal products department, and related issues of the new products, like new power cables, steel cables, precision fixtures and smelting apparatus.
“The result of 2011 sales projects shows the cooperation between Severstal-Metiz and its dealers is very successful. With the familiarity of the regional market characteristics and product demands by local dealers, Severstal-Metiz is expected to achieve impressive results in 2011. The main purpose of the dealer convention is to convey to its partners in the world by first hand with the company product information and overall development direction. Through the seminars and exhibitions, information and opinions are shared to build a highly efficient and effective sales network that will generate greater profits for the company and its partners,” stated by the Vidrin in the briefing to the convention.
During the convention, Severstal-Metiz reviewed the performance of its dealers in 2011, and discussed the company aims and cooperation focus with its dealers for the following year. Conferees all gave favorable feedbacks toward the series of marketing plans for steel cable products by the company in 2011. One of the main projects in 2012 is to assist regional dealers in generating good sales results in major exhibitions of related steel and iron products. Through the close cooperation, the business opportunities may be generated, and the dealer loyalty to the company and its products may be further strengthened. In order for the customers to be more familiar with sales network of Severstal-Metiz products, a dedicated page of “DEALERS” in the company web site is created. All sales points and related information are fully depicted on the web site to enhance the marketing and customer services.
Currently there are more than 40 active dealers with Severstal-Metiz that are distributed in Russia and previous members of Soviet Union.
