U.S. Economy Turns Better

In light of the economic recovery shown in the US, industry insiders consider that though the US construction industry still needs to be improved, the future fastener demand is optimistic due to the reduction in the unemployment rate and the growth of consumer confidence. Taiwan industry insiders indicate, the overall export orders have grown, and the orders of small screws have recovered after a nine-month decline. It is reported that the present Taiwan export orders of small screws are at USD1.37/kg. The insiders comment, if the small screws exports to Europe can further bottom out, the overall performance of small screws exports will have a better performance due to the growth of the export orders from the US.
