According to the U.S. Commerce Department, the U.S. housing starts jumped 9.3% in November 2011, compared to that of the previous month, posting the highest monthly figure in one and a half year, and the building permits in the same month also climbed 5.7%. Some industry insiders said that the building industry has long been the weakest sector in the U.S. economy recovery; now with the good news from the building sector and the growth of the U.S. steel price, fastener sales to the U.S. in the future is optimistic.
