CSC Steel Price Hits Bottom Directly to Fuel Purchases

Taiwan CSC has announced the domestic price for January and February of 2012. On an average, the price of overall steel products exhibits a drop to NTD1,756 per tonne and a price fall of 7.08%. The price of bar and wire that the fastener industry puts more focus on reduces NTD2,000 per tonne. 

Owing to the factor of the unfavorable economic situation in Q1 2012, CSC has decided in the domestic steel product price meeting to reduce the steel price to hit bottom directly, encouraging customers to accept orders, allowing them to be equipped with the competitiveness in the international market and creating a win-win situation.
