SPIROL Receives Nadcap Accreditation for Chemical Processing
SPIROL International Corporation is proud to announce the achievement of meeting the stringent requirements of Nadcap accreditation for chemical processing. Nadcap (formerly NADCAP, the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) is a global cooperative standards-setting program for aerospace engineering, defense and other related industries.
Accreditation to Nadcap AC7108 Rev D grants the SPIROL Ohio facility to perform the following:
• Surface Treatment/Passivation – ASTM A 380
• Surface Treatment/Passivation – ASTM A 967
• Surface Treatment/Passivation – Other
• Surface Treatment/Passivation – QQ-P-35
• Surface Treatment/Passivation– AMS-2700
• Surface Treatment/Passivation– AMS-QQ-P-35
In addition to the above processing standards, SPIROL performs the following tests internally in support of chemical processing in the scope of the audit:
• B6 Water Immersion/High Humidity Testing
• Solution Analysis
SPIROL has been Nadcap accredited for chemical processing since 2005, and therefore has been entitled to appear on the Qualified Manufacturers List (QML) (for chemical processing). To maintain accreditation, annual audits are conducted by PRI personnel using process specific Nadcap checklists. Manufacturing to this checklist ensures that products are made per the strictest manufacturing disciplines resulting in the highest standard of quality.
