Alcoa Fastening Systems Launches Aerospace Latch Repair Station
Alcoa Fastening Systems (AFS) has recently launched an FAA Repair Station specializing in the repair and overhaul of its RAM® aerospace latch and snubber product lines. The facility, which holds an Organization Authorization Designation (ODA), is located in Torrance, California in close proximity to the RAM engineering and production teams. This repair source provides airlines, MRO's, and OEM's with a quick, affordable option to the expense of replacement parts.
The AFS RAM latch repair station can readily repair Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) items used on the B737, B747, B757, B767, B777, MD-11, and DC-10 aircraft models. With its vast design and manufacturing resources, AFS can also provide repair and overhaul services on latches and snubbers through Part Approval Holder (PAH) authorization, or by obtaining further approvals from the FAA.
