Asiamold Select – Guangzhou returns in February 2025 to connect South China’s mould making industry

Guangzhou, 4 November 2024. For nearly two decades, Asiamold Select – Guangzhou has connected manufacturers, specialists, and key industry stakeholders across China’s mould, die and additive manufacturing sectors. In 2025, from 25 – 27 February, the event will return to the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou to provide an end-to-end platform for production and prototyping solutions. The exhibition, along with co-located events SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou and Guangzhou Industrial Technology will occupy 70,000 sqm of floor space, serving the growing needs of South China’s manufacturing sector.

Though covering less than 0.6% of China’s land area, South China’s Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Greater Bay Area), contributes approximately one-ninth of the country’s GDP.1 A key factor behind this economic strength is the region’s dense concentration of industrial clusters, particularly in Guangdong Province, which is home to 708,572 manufacturing enterprises, the highest in the country, followed by Jiangsu (641,215) and Zhejiang (564,339).2

As a foundational process in manufacturing, moulding is used by many of the region's core industries, including automotive, electronics, and machinery production. The demand for high-quality moulds has led to the development of a strong network of mould manufacturers and technology providers within the Greater Bay Area. Asiamold Select – Guangzhou provides a platform for industry stakeholders, both international and domestic, to exchange knowledge, source products, showcase technologies, and explore opportunities across the region’s manufacturing supply chain from upstream to downstream.

Leading companies in the moulding industry will showcase their latest innovations at the 2025 event, including Andefeer, Huangchuang, Kingrui, LRibond Coating, NaiKeTai, Runke, SEAL, Seetom, Tenghongjie Metal, Vacotech, Yalu Industry, Zhong Da Xiang Plastic Mould and more.

The exhibition will also feature key players in additive manufacturing (AM), reflecting the expanding use of AM technologies in mould making. Within this industry, AM technologies are increasingly being applied as both a supporting technology, offering rapid prototyping capabilities and enhanced design flexibility, as well as in the direct production of moulds and components. Through bringing together industry leaders from both fields, Asiamold Select – Guangzhou facilitates business connections between these two complementary sectors.

Mr Wei Chuanqi, Product Planning Manager at Flashforge, an AM exhibitor at the fair’s 2024 edition commented on the advantages of the show’s location: “Guangzhou is an ideal choice of location, given the Greater Bay Area’s manufacturing capabilities. It’s why we consistently see such a precisely targeted visitor audience year after year. Today, we hosted buyers from regions including Hong Kong, Hungary and North America, all of whom arrived with clear objectives.”

Mr Cui Dechao, Vice General Manager at Shenzhen Deruite Mold Steel Company, a distributor of German mould steel shared his first-time experience at the event: "When we expressed interest in entering the Guangzhou mould market, our clients immediately recommended Asiamold Select – Guangzhou. At the exhibition, we connected with numerous international and domestic clients, and had the opportunity to visit many excellent mould manufacturers’ booths on-site to discuss potential collaborations."

Extended coverage through co-located exhibitions To further extend the event’s coverage, Asiamold Select – Guangzhou will once again be held alongside two other manufacturing trade fairs: SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou, presenting advanced automation solutions for a variety of industries, and Guangzhou Industrial Technology, featuring an expansive range of industrial automation products and components. This co-location allows moulding specialists to explore applicable automation solutions, while offering automation providers the chance to connect with relevant suppliers from the moulding sector.
