Material chemistry 5.1 Body steel Carbon 0.06 to 0.10 percent Manganese 0.25 to 0.50 percent Silicon up to 0.10 percent Phosphorus up to 0.030 percent Sulfur up to 0.030 percent Iron balance 5.2 Mandrel steel Carbon 0.12 to 0.18 percent Manganese 0.40 to 0.70 percent Silicon up to 0.15 percent Phosphorus up to 0.030 percent Sulfur up to 0.030 percent Iron balance 5. Mechanical target Body tensile 380 to 480 MPa Body shear 240 to 320 MPa Mandrel breaks at designed neck. Break end flush to 0.5 mm maximum below head. 6. Finish Plain oiled. No plating. Light rust acceptable during storage. 7. Corrosion expectation Red rust can appear within 12 months in normal indoor store room. No salt spray requirement. 8. Packing and marking 1000 pieces per inner box. Outer master carton bulk. Print on box: batch date. 9. Workmanship No bent mandrel. No cracked head. No burrs. No jams in standard hand tool. 10.
