Istanbul Hardware Fair 2019

Istanbul Hardware Fair takes place on March 14 to 17 in Istanbul which is full of business opportunities by neighboring the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. The geographical advantage Istanbul draws many manufacturers and buyers to the show to look for opportunities. Turkey has a population of above 80 million with a considerable domestic market and vibrant demand in the automotive components and construction industries. The forthcoming business opportunities are very promising.
The show uses Hall 9 and Hall 10 of Istanbul Expo Center. A total of 153 exhibitors take part of this event, and 142 Turkish exhibitors make up the largest proportion of exhibitors. Other exhibitors from around the world include those from Germany, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Taiwan, and China. China make up the largest proportion of overseas exhibitors and Wiha from Germany also appear as one of the exhibitors. The show displays hand tools, electric tools, gardening tools, DIY tools and accessories. Fastener exhibitors are relatively fewer and Sormat, a major fastener company in Turkey, appear at the show as well.
Our correspondent reports that there are many small and medium traders at the show who trade various hardware and tools. An interviewee says he has visited Taiwan Hardware Show before and is very impressed with the quality and cost performance ratio of Taiwan’s products. Most of the visitors to this show are local companies and buyers who are there for exchange of know-how and showcase of their latest products. The show is located where there is good public transport. The show is adjacent to the main traffic line and is only one stop away by subway from the airport.
