EU Launches Anti-dumping and Anti-subsidies Investigation Against Indian Stainless Steel Fasteners

European Commission announced on May 13th that it would open the investigation against stainless steel fastener import from India. The complaint was initially lodged by European Industrial Fastener Institute on March 31st. The stainless fasteners fall within the following CN codes:

7318 1210 wood screws of stainless steel
7318 1410 self-tapping screws of stainless steel
7318 1530 other screws and bolts of stainless steel
7318 1561 hexagon socket screws of stainless steel
7318 1570 hexagon bolts of stainless steel

The provisional measures for anti-subsidies will be no later than 13 months after the publication of the official notices while those for anti-dumping will be no later than 15 months. However, related experts from the Industry say the Commission may make the final decision within 13 months for both cases. Detailed information please visit eur-lex.europa.eu.
