Liege International established in 1992 is a professional automotive parts supplier, specialized in manufacturing cold forged parts and the OEM of CNC machined customized parts for cars. It also has sophisticated machines and professional design engineers. It uses forging machines to process billets and then produces customized products through CNC machining, milling, auto-feed lathing, and other auxiliary manufacturing facilities. In order to offer customers complete manufacturing solutions, it is able to provide forged & cast products made of different materials such as stainless steel, medium carbon steel, alloy steel, Al, Cu, Ti-alloy, Ni-alloy, plastic, non-metal steel and iron, precision casting, powder metallurgical materials, etc. Liege also offers other various service like part processing outsourcing, electroplating, heat treatment, grinding, gear processing, knurling, deep hole processing and assembly to satisfy customers’ demand.

Liege owns many high-end machines. Swage machine, for example, is used to produce automotive, ship, and aerospace forged parts requiring high tenacity and can reduce waste of materials; CNC machine is used to process customized products; Swiss turning machine is used to produce terminals for hi-tech products and precision electronic/medical/aerospace parts. As for inspection devices, Liege has instruments for 3D/2D electric/contour/roughness inspection, minimizing product defective rate and enhancing product quality. 

Product Diversification  

Liege’s products mainly fall within two categories: one is finished products (e.g., automotive suspension & chassis parts), and the other is customized products (as per customer’s drawing).     These two product categories are all developed and manufactured based on the company’s current scale and facilities. Take auto parts for example, they are forged and CNC machined first and then are used to assemble products with rubber. The advantage of Liege comes from its strict requirement for processing precision of metallic products. Plus, due to its continuous improvement in manufacturing technology that combines metal and rubber together, Liege can thus get a firm presence in the auto parts market.

CNC Machined & Forged Parts  

Forging can only produce basic shapes for products and details must be processed later (e.g., if one needs a right angle, it has to be processed from a round blunt angle).rghte sbe processed later (e.. fater (eg. products arts market that combines metal and rubber togetehr, However, the advantages of forging are the reduction of material waste and accelerated capacity. CNC machined parts must be finished with computer numerical control. The computer will select which lathe to use and the part doesn’t need to turn to be lathed. Through this way, the size and stability of products can be precisely controlled. However, the drawback is it needs a man to conduct material feeding during manufacturing. Forging needs molds to manufacture a billet, but it doesn’t need a man to conduct material feeding, thus saving labor cost. Both ways complement with each other.

Although it has a fast employee turnover and finds it difficult to train more employees, Liege tries to solve these problems with SOP and foolproof molds in order to enhance employees’ efficiency and reduce defective rates of products.
