S&T Fastening Industrial Co., Ltd. has a sales headquarters in Kaohsiung and three manufacturing bases in Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Bangkok (Thailand) and Tianjing (China). It is specialized in production and sales of “construction screws” and has several production lines that are able to produce 10mm-350mm self-drilling screws, self-tapping screws, concrete screws, nylon screws, stainless steel screws for the construction industry. In addition, the bi-metal screws it co-developed with customers have been also added into its product range since 2002, which not only achieved a new sales record for the company, but also consolidated its position in the marketplace. General Manager - Mr. Curtis Yu, who began his fasteners career from working in a quality control division, has strict requirements on quality and also pays much attention to the operating management of the company. He always arranges the production lines according to locations of manufacturing bases and sets target sales markets, which cannot only effectively realize specialized production and ensure product quality, but can also increase the competiveness of its prices immediately. Curtis added, “For example, products traded between Thailand and Europe can enjoy favorable tariffs and stainless steel products exported from Thailand to Europe are not subject to antidumping rates, either. As a result, Thailand is the best location to produce and export stainless steel products. Our decisions to establish manufacturing bases in Taiwan and China were also resulted from concerns to win more competitive edge for the company.”」

Speaking of growth of the company, General Manager Curtis said, “I started to work for S&T in 2007 when the global economy slumped to the worst point. However, we were lucky to gain customers’ confidence in us, though they cut down their purchasing budgets, we had very high stress on the prices competitions that time, we could still get through challenges brought by the financial crisis due to our abundant experience in manufacturing, quality control, and the stable financial status. General Manager Curtis said, “Our plant in Thailand spans the area of 400,000 sq. m. Before this goal is achieved, we will plan a production line that can handle all manufacturing processes from the very beginning to the end.
