On March 5, 2014, the Ministry of Finance determined that China and South Korea have dumped 300 series cold rolled stainless steel to Taiwan, and levied the highest AD duty of 38.11%. After Taiwan levied 20.52%-46.02% interim AD duty last year, China's and South Korea's stainless steel import shrank dramatically. By contrast, shipment of Yieh United Steel Corp. and Tang Eng Iron Works bounced back. Now, the final determination is made, and China and South Korea will be levied from 20.18% to 38.11%. The 5-year duty is effective from Aug. 15, 2013 to Aug.14, 2018.
